Although we are a new band, we have been playing folk music - both separately and together - for years. We play together in our pairs of siblings regularly, and are all part of the London Youth Folk Ensemble at Cecil Sharp House. We have all worked together (and individually) in multiple other small groups, ranging from duos to groups of 8 or more. We re-arrange both traditional and modern folk tunes from across the world, using our mixed range of instruments to create a unique sound.
We have also performed individually in multiple other groups and venues, including (but not limited to!): Wigmore Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Folk by the Oak, London Youth Wind Band, East Sussex Youth Orchestra, East Sussex String Chamber Orchestra, Get Your Folk On courses and in many small groups with friends and family. This year we were New Roots finalists alongside other acts like Finn Collinson and Queerly Beloved Ceilidh, and performed at the Barking Folk Festival in June!
